Curbtender Inc. and its subsidiary Curbtender Sweepers, a street maintenance vehicle manufacturer based in Cedar Falls, Iowa, have earned a Sourcewell contract award in the “Street Sweepers and Specialty Sweepers” category.
According to a news release from Curbtender, Sourcewell, formerly the National Joint Powers Alliance, is a government organization partnering with education, government and nonprofits to boost student and community success based in Staples, Minnesota.
With the cooperative purchase contract, government fleets in the U.S. and Canada can purchase street sweepers and leaf loaders from Curbtender Sweepers without a lengthy and costly bid procurement process. Sourcewell members additionally receive a free one-year extended warranty when buying products from Curbtender.
Curbtender Sweepers manufactures leaf collection vehicles and mechanical street sweepers. Last year, the company expanded into grapple loader trucks when it acquired the Brush Hawg brand of brush, debris and limb loaders.
