The Tukwila, Washington-based Washington State Recycling Association (WSRA) says it is seeking nominations for its annual Recycler of the Year awards, to be presented at the WSRA Annual Conference & Trade Show, April 28-May 1, 2019, in Spokane, Washington. Nominations for the awards are due Friday, January 11, 2019
The association says the awards are designed to spotlight individuals, businesses, government agencies and community organizations who “are making outstanding contributions to expanding and strengthening recycling and waste prevention.” WSRA says it welcomes nominations of individuals and organizations who have demonstrated “noteworthy dedication, innovation and success in recycling initiatives across the state.”
Award categories include Individual Recycler, Public Agency, Institution, Non-Profit, Higher Education Institution, Business Generator, Public Education, Youth Education, Innovation, Recycling Business, and the Recycling Hall of Fame.
