Apex Waste Solutions, a Parker, Colorado-based portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries LLC, has acquired Twin Enviro Services and certain assets of WM of Colorado Inc., marking Apex's third and fourth completed acquisitions since it partnered with Kinderhook in November 2023.
Founded in 1971, Twin Enviro is a vertically integrated solid waste provider operating two landfills, one material recycling facility and three hauling operations across the Western Slope of Colorado. The acquired WM assets include one transfer station and three hauling operations serving Divide, Steamboat Springs and Gypsum/Vail, Colorado.
Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Apex is a vertically integrated regional provider of solid waste collection and disposal services to the Front Range and Western Slope of Colorado. The company provides services to more than 100,000 households across Colorado and thousands of commercial and industrial customers.
Sidley Austin LLP served as legal counsel to Apex and Kinderhook in connection with the acquisitions and financings. Holland & Hart LLP served as legal counsel to Twin Enviro. Debt financing for the transactions was provided by a syndicate led by Comerica Bank with participation from Webster Bank, Fifth Third Bank and Huntington Bank.
