Leck Waste Services, an Ivyland, Pennsylvania-based solid waste hauling and recycling company for commercial, industrial and residential customers, has announced the acquisition of Clifford Hill Sanitation Service Inc., a Kutztown, Pennsylvania-based solid and liquid waste hauling company that also operates a municipal solid waste (MSW) and C&D transfer station.
The transaction includes the sale of the real estate assets that Clifford Hill Sanitation Service operates on. With this acquisition, Leck Waste Services will increase its waste collection division by adding 4,500 solid and liquid waste customers in Berks County, Pennsylvania.
As the news release states, the acquisition allows Leck Waste Services the ability to service one of the fastest-growing markets in Pennsylvania, based on the proximity to Reading, Allentown and Philadelphia.
“Clifford Hill Sanitation has a reputation for providing dependable quality services for over 50 years to its customers,” says Jason Leck, president of Leck Waste Services. “We look forward to retaining their loyal employees and customers while we expand into this new market area. The addition of the transfer station allows Leck Waste Services to continue working on its strategic goal of being a vertically integrated waste and recycling company, to better serve our customers.”
Leck Waste Services provides services in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and operates 75 trucks daily in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
