Leadpoint, a Phoenix-based provider of work teams and operations support services to the waste and recycling industry, has expanded offerings to provide residential and commercial on-route support services.
The new service offering, meant to streamline operations, includes route helpers who assist drivers with critical tasks such as loading, unloading and timely pickups and ensure quality service and safety throughout the process, Leadpoint says.
Leadpoint provides this service to multiple locations in Florida and Texas, with additional locations to come.
“We are committed to addressing the ongoing workforce challenges for an industry we know well. Leadpoint’s foundation is built on quality recruiting, employee training, retention and safety,” says Mike Huycke, vice president of business development at Leadpoint. “Our on-route support service is designed to support the physically demanding environment of collection operations, specifically the route helper role. We provide well-trained and safety-conscious employees to enhance both the customer and driver experience.”
The route helper positions are part of Leadpoint’s growing on-route division, including cart-tagging and route auditing services. This division is focused on addressing the challenges of collection operations by delivering skilled and reliable teams committed to safety and customer satisfaction.
Leadpoint says its on-route division reflects the company’s ongoing dedication to safety and training, ensuring that all team members are well-prepared to meet the demands of their roles while delivering exceptional service.
“We anticipate continued growth opportunities and look forward to building on the decades of knowledge we have acquired to help advance the broader waste and recycling industry,” Huycke says.
