LRS, a Rosemont, Illinois-based independent waste and recycling services provider, has appointed Dan Goldstein to chief financial officer (CFO), effective immediately.
Goldstein, who has served as interim CFO since May, brings more than two decades of experience in finance, procurement and mergers and acquisitions within the waste industry.
“Dan has been instrumental in navigating the financial complexities of our industry and has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of the strategic drivers behind our growth,” LRS CEO Matt Spencer says. “His leadership style aligns perfectly with our vision for the future, and I am thrilled to have him officially on board as our CFO.”

Goldstein holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Illinois.

Goldstein’s previous experience includes roles with Synagro, Baltimore; WCA Waste, Houston; and Stericycle, Bannockburn, Illinois.
