Recycling Today has announced a new approach to the 2020 Paper & Plastics Recycling conferences. The North American and European conferences will take place as a three-day broadcast event with a full schedule of business intelligence sessions and a new online networking tool. The MRF Operations Forum, which is traditionally co-located with the North American event, also will be presented in this new broadcast format.
This year, out of consideration for the health and wellness of our team, our attendees, sponsors and exhibitors and combined with mandates preventing large events from taking place in Chicago and Rotterdam and international travel restrictions, the Recycling Today Media Group has shifted focus to bring both the North American and European events together in one broadcast event: the Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference International.
“After decades producing the industry’s premier recycling conferences, the Recycling Today team knew we could not offer yet another webinar series," says Jim Keefe, Recycling Today Media Group publisher. "Instead, our team has collaborated to create a totally different event experience. We’re excited to bring the industry this new, dynamic format."
The industry’s first broadcast event will air Oct. 20-22 from 8 a.m. – noon EDT. The MRF Operations Forum will air Oct. 19 from noon to 4 p.m. EDT.
The valuable networking opportunities that delegates look forward to year after year are hallmarks of these events. While face-to-face meetings are on hold, an online networking tool will be available to all registered delegates. The tool is designed to allow users to fill out profiles and connect with potential trading partners across the globe.
More information on the conference and forum can be found on the event websites. Registration details will be available soon.
Companies interested in sponsoring either event should contact their sales representatives.
