The Action Environmental Group, a provider of nonhazardous waste management and recycling services for New York City, northern New Jersey, Rockland and Orange County, New York, based in Teaneck, New Jersey, has announced the completion of its acquisition of Miele Sanitation, a New Jersey-based waste management company.
Miele is a local, family-owned and operated solid waste hauling business engaged in the business of waste removal and disposal for commercial customers in northern Bergen County and parts of Rockland and Orange counties in New York state for more than 90 years.
With this transaction, the Action Environmental Group, through its Teaneck-based subsidiary Interstate Waste Services (IWS), has acquired operations and assets of the Closter, New Jersey-based company. The acquired business assets include commercial waste and recycling collection, equipment and vehicles.
