Alliance BioEnergy Plus appoints chief technology officer

Benjamin Slager will facilitate process commercialization and plant integration of company’s CTS technology.

Alliance BioEnergy Plus Inc., West Palm Beach, Florida, has announced that Vice President of Business Development Benjamin Slager has been elevated to the position of chief technology officer. Slager's new responsibilities include working with the development team at Ek Laboratories on implementing the CTS process at company-owned plants as well as licensee's; identifying and exploring ancillary product pathways for the CTS process and insuring that the company is making the best use of its intellectual properties and processes.

Slager, who joined the company in August of 2016 as a consultant and then eventually became a board member, has vast experience in technology development, deployment and commercialization. Having founded, developed and sold several companies in the solar energy, antiballistic, identification transponder and life sciences industries along with degrees in business and chemical engineering while being listed on 18 patents and speaking five languages gives him a unique set of skills that will benefit the company as it transitions to commercial operations.

"Ben is a rare find in this industry. He has the technical background and successful development experience we need to roll our process out." says Daniel de Liege, CEO. "We are looking forward to getting this first plant up and running as soon as possible and Ben will go a long way in getting that done … he has done it many times before."
