International technology Group Andritz, Graz, Austria, has announced a new recycling shredder product line. The ADuro shredders are highly durable and suited to processing all raw materials in the recycling industry, the company says. They can be installed at existing facilities, minimizing shutdown times during installation.
The newest addition to the ADuro product line, which launches in July, is a compact secondary shredder with a new design. The rotor is 3,200 millimeters long, and the machine can be used for shredding refuse-derived fuels and municipal solid waste, as well as commercial or industrial waste.
“The ADuro brand name reflects our strong focus on R&D and stands for a continuously enhanced shredder design with IIoT features to achieve the optimum operating point,” Vice President Michael Waupotitsch says. “The Andritz automation tools can be tailored to individual customer needs and provide powerful capabilities to monitor machine behavior and improve plant reliability.”
