Andritz
Andritz, an international technology group based in Graz, Austria, plans to exhibit a range of proven and new technologies for the water, wastewater, waste management and raw materials industries at IFAT 2020, which will take place May 4-8 in Munich.
According to a news release from Andritz, the company will showcase innovations such as its standard water pump series ES05, its new series of Aqua-Screen fine screens, the Andritz decanter centrifuge DU and intelligent control systems for pumps, separation and filtration equipment. Additionally, the company’s international technology group plans to showcase its portfolio of waste treatment equipment in the show’s B6 recycling hall, including single machines and complete lines.
During the event, Andritz will provide insight to the thermal treatment of residual waste and how to use waste as fuel at booth 439 in Hall A1. The Andritz fluidized bed boiler is suitable for thermal treatment of almost all types of fuel, such as refuse-derived fuel (RDF), pretreated municipal solid waste (MSW) and industrial waste, sludge (e.g., paper sludge, municipal sewage sludge), scrap wood, demolition wood, typical biomass fuels, energy crops and agricultural waste.
For the recycling industry, Andritz plans to present its broad portfolio of products as well as the latest technological developments it has for the recycling industry at booth 151/250 in Hall B6. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover some of this equipment in augmented reality as well as virtual reality.
Also, the company will showcase its new secondary shredder. According to Andritz, its secondary shredder features a rotor length of 3,200 mm, and it achieves high throughput. The company reports that the shredder is ideal for processing large quantities of waste in the RDF, MSW and commercial and industrial waste application sectors.
