Minnesota-based McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc., an Oshkosh Corp. business, has announced that authorized McNeilus dealer Atlantic Heavy Duty has opened a new regional service center in Wilder, Kentucky.

Located at 4 Interstate Access Road in Highland Heights, Kentucky, the 17,000-square-foot dedicated refuse and recycling facility aims to expand Atlantic’s service network and enhance support for vehicle operators across the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Southeast U.S. The center features six fully equipped bays for maintenance, repair and refurbishment services.

“With over 135 years of combined experience in the refuse industry, our team is committed to delivering the most reliable service and support,” says Joe Pack, CEO of Atlantic Heavy Duty. “The new Wilder Regional Service Center expands our service capabilities and offers an extensive inventory of refuse parts, ensuring exceptional customer support for our customers throughout the region.”

Atlantic recently hosted an open house to welcome vehicle operators to tour the facility, watch refuse vehicle demonstrations, visit factory partners and meet the local team. The addition of the Wilder location marks Atlantic’s third dedicated refuse and recycling service center, with the company also operating facilities in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Morgantown, Pennsylvania.

“The opening of Atlantic Heavy Duty’s Wilder facility is a significant milestone that strengthens McNeilus’ dealer network and commitment to customers,” says Jason Fritz, vice president, sales, for McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing. “By expanding their footprint with this new service center, Atlantic Heavy Duty is ensuring fleets across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast have robust access to the responsive, trusted support they need.”
