Best Trash, a Richmond, Texas-based municipal solid waste (MSW) services provider, has acquired Pelican Waste & Debris, a Louisiana and Mississippi-based hauling services provider.
This acquisition expands Best Trash beyond Texas into Louisiana and Mississippi. The company says this partnership complements its core residential and commercial MSW offerings with additional roll-off and construction services.
Pelican serves parish, municipal and commercial customers across southern Louisiana.

Best Trash recently acquired Circle Lake Transfer Station in Magnolia, Texas, as well as Blackjack Disposal in the Dallas-Forth Worth metroplex, adding 30,000 new customers, a material recovery facility and another transfer station to its portfolio. The company serves utility districts, municipalities, homeowner associations, individual residences and commercial and industrial businesses, with service to more than 500,000 homes.
