BioHiTech Global Inc., a green technology company that develops and deploys disruptive waste management technologies based in Chestnut Ridge, New York, has announced it expects to complete delivery of 13 Revolution Series Seed digesters in October to fulfill an initial multiunit rental order from a specialty grocery chain with more than 250 locations throughout the U.S.
BioHiTech's Revolution Series digesters are designed to meet the needs of grocery stores and other smaller volume food waste generators through its regulatory compliant digestive technologies. In addition to eliminating the landfilling of food waste, the units provide supply chain data analytics designed to help customers become smarter about reducing waste generation.
"We are happy to have initiated shipments for this initial multiunit customer order for our Revolution Series Seed digesters that was derived from the pilot program we launched earlier this year,” Frank E. Celli, CEO of BioHiTech, says. “A grocery chain that operates over 250 store locations represents a substantial recurring revenue opportunity for BioHiTech and we intend to work diligently to expand this customer relationship in the coming quarters."
