Call2Recycle, Atlanta, issued a statement on its website July 16 stating that its CEO and President Carl Smith has announced his intent to retire in 2021 after more than 10 years with the consumer battery recycling and stewardship program.
The organization has retained Boston-based executive search firm Koya Leadership Partners to spearhead the search for its next president and CEO.
“We look forward to celebrating Carl’s significant contributions to Call2Recycle and appreciate his ongoing stewardship while the board embarks on a national search to identify his successor,” Andrew Sirjord, chairman of the board of Call2Recycle, said in a written statement.
Interested parties can contact the Koya team at call2recycle@koyapartners.com to learn more about the position.
