Cards Recycling, Springdale, Arkansas, has renewed its municipal contract with the city of Harrah, Oklahoma, which covers approximately 3,000 homes and 200 commercial accounts. The company says the contract renewal underscores its ongoing commitment to providing reliable waste management solutions that meet the needs of Harrah residents and businesses.
Cards began servicing Harrah in August of last year after the company acquired Harrah Disposal. Since taking over, the company says it has been focused on building strong relationships with local residents, businesses and city officials.
“This is an exciting moment for Cards, and we are honored to continue servicing Harrah residents,” says Jason Fitzgerald, vice president of business development at the company. “Our team worked extremely hard to ensure a smooth transition, and we are grateful for the opportunity to provide top-tier waste services to this community.”
This contract aligns with the municipalities’ expectations for environmentally responsible initiatives, including new eco-friendly collection vehicles, Cards says. The company also uses technology such as 3rd Eye camera systems designed to enhance safety and efficiency.
“The Oklahoma City team devised and executed a strategy knowing the contract was expiring,” Cards CEO Dustin Reynolds says. “They committed themselves to improving collection services, [focusing] on community involvement, increasing sustainability solutions, rebranding all equipment and ensuring residents a cost-effective solution for waste collection.”
