United Kingdom-based sludge and waste liquids processing equipment and technology provider CDEnviro has appointed Alan Mitchell as its new business development manager for North America. Based in North Carolina, Mitchell will lead a team responsible for business development in the United States and Canada.
A new release issued by CDEnviro indicates Mitchell “will utilize market-leading CDEnviro solutions and technologies to develop the environmental remediation and wastewater management markets, providing clients with innovative solutions to improve productivity, generate competitive advantage and drive bottom-line profitability.”
Originally from Scotland, Mitchell recently relocated to the U.S. with his family. He has more than 20 years of experience in the private equity, banking and real estate sectors. Most recently, Mitchell worked for Cerberus, a U.S.-based private equity firm.
“Alan’s appointment in North America forms part of our business expansion strategy for this region,” says Marc Jennings, chief operating officer at CDEnviro. “The current level of development and waste in the U.S. means now, more than ever, there is a need for exactly the kind of innovative and cost effective environmental solutions that CDEnviro can offer.”
