Troy Lautenbach, president of Mount Vernon, Washington-based Lautenbach Recycling, has been inducted into the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) Hall of Fame.

The award was presented by CDRA Board President and Recycling and Waste Solutions LLC Managing Partner John Thomas at the 2026 CDRA Conference & Tradeshow in Tampa, Florida, Jan. 28.

“[This award] is a testament to the desire to leave the place better than he found it,” Thomas said. “It’s a testament to his dedication to the cause of what we all stand for in this industry.”

Lautenbach previously served as CDRA president and received the association’s Member of the Year Award in 2023.

“I came into this organization with little experience working with others,” he said. “I was a boss building a company with Torrey [Lautenbach]. I came to conferences, then the board, then the conference committee as a committee chair in the EC, then the president and now a hall of famer. I’m forever grateful for the knowledge, the skills, the professional development, the experiences, all the places we’ve been. It’s been so fun. … Being a leader can be lonely but with good partners and trusting relationships, you can become bigger than yourself.”

CDRA presented its Recycler of the Year Award to Salem, New Hampshire-based ReSource Waste Services.

“As everyone keeps talking about, it’s all about the people,” said David DeVito, vice president of operations at ReSource Waste Services. “That’s how we do things as a community. That’s how we do things as an association. That’s how we do things as a company. I greatly appreciate this opportunity. I couldn’t be more proud of the team.”

Michael McCamley, vice president of global business development at New West Gypsum Recycling Inc., New Westminster, British Columbia, was awarded Member of the Year. McCamley also serves as co-chair of CDRA’s Gypsum Recycling Committee alongside USA Gypsum President Terry Weaver.

“[The gypsum recycling industry] is very much a sunrise industry, and the sun is just peeking over the horizon, and the potential is unreal,” McCamley said. “It’s fun and challenging, working through all the different things that can come up. There is a solution, and you just got to drive down and figure out what you need to do to make it happen.”
