Historically, Clean Earth made its regulatory compliance services available to retail customers for tasks like obtaining Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) numbers, managing store closures and handling biannual or year-end reporting. Now, these services, which include a more comprehensive range of solutions, are available to all clients. While reporting and compliance support remain a core offering, the division is adding auditing and training services to meet its customers’ evolving needs, Clean Earth says.
Its regulatory compliance services include:
- Reporting & Compliance Support – EPA ID application and modifications, annual/biennial reporting, Clear Air Act reporting and paying agency fees;
- Auditing & Compliance Assessments – State-specific inspection-ready assessments; manifest and paperwork audits; environmental, health and safety gap analysis; and operations and systems audits; and
- Training – Department of Transportation (DOT) hazmat; DOT International Air Transport Association and International Maritime Dangerous Goods codes; Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) general industry; OSHA hazcom; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; laboratory safety; and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) training.
"We’re excited to expand our services to better support our clients in navigating complex regulatory landscapes,” says Jeff Beswick, president of Clean Earth, which is based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. “At Clean Earth, our commitment goes beyond waste management—we’re dedicated to using our niche expertise to help our customers improve their operations, optimize processes and meet higher compliance standards.”
