During WasteExpo, San Francisco-based waste technology company Compology is highlighting its dumpster monitoring software, which combines Compology's in-dumpster cameras with artificial intelligence to not only collect images to assess dumpster fullness, but to identify contamination in each container.
The result is Compology's Contamination Score, or CScore, which is helping haulers, generators and processors establish profitable recycling and organics operations, the company says. CScore is the number of pieces of contamination divided by the total volume of material in a dumpster.
"The value of CScore is providing targeted, continuous education, enabling profitable collection models for recycling and organics and helping generators and regulators meet their zero waste and diversion goals," says Jason Gates, CEO of Compology.
Watch the Compology video below to learn more about how the idea of CScore came about and the value it brings to haulers, generators and processors. Stop by the company's booth at WasteExpo to learn more about CScore and Compology's scoring software.
