CDRA says annual C&D World meeting to go on as planned

The association says it is taking ample precautions to keep attendees safe and offering a virtual option for those participating remotely.

The Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) announced Jan. 11 that it is going forward as planned with its annual meeting, C&D World 2021, which will take place March 21-23 in Austin, Texas.

CDRA says the association will be adhering to all recommended CDC guidelines to hold the event safely, but to accommodate those attendees not ready to travel, a virtual option will be offered to stream the event’s educational sessions.

For 2021, the C&D World exhibit hall will be spread out and any adjacent booths will not face each other. The association says the separate room used for educational sessions is large, allowing for ample distance between participants. Sanitary measures will include the placement of numerous hand cleansing stations, having food and beverage dispensed in individual containers, and the use of electrostatic germ cleaning equipment.

C&D World 2021 will feature an economic forecast, end markets discussions, discussions on accessing government grants, and other C&D-focused sessions.

Registration information is available on the CDRA website.
