Covanta hires senior vice president and chief human resources officer

Ginny Angilello spent 17 years in various roles at Honeywell International.

Covanta, a sustainable waste and energy service provider in Morristown, New Jersey, has announced the appointment of veteran human resources professional, Ginny Angilello, to the role of senior vice president and chief human resources officer.

Angilello will be responsible for all aspects of Covanta's human resources organization, including talent acquisition and retention strategy, organizational culture initiatives, benefits and compensation, diversity and inclusion and employee engagement efforts. She will be based at the company's world headquarters in Morristown.

Prior to joining Covanta, Angilello spent 17 years at Honeywell International, Morristown, in roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as vice president, human resources for its performance materials and technologies (PMT) division and integrated supply chain (ISC) division. In this position, she led global human resources in ISC for the PMT business unit comprised of approximately 10,000 employees at 90 operating sites. Her key areas of focus included manufacturing, procurement, supply planning, logistics and engineering. Prior to this position, Angilello was vice president of global operations for Honeywell's human resources services division; global director of human resources, specialty materials; and senior director of U.S. and Canada human resources services operations.
