The California Resource Recovery Association (CRRA) has opened a call for award nominations for its 42nd Annual Conference and Tradeshow, set for July 26-29, 2018, at the Oakland Marriott City Center in Oakland, California.
CRRA says it invites individuals and companies to share programs and successes achieved by industry colleagues and peers who are “going above and beyond” in efforts to prevent waste, reuse materials, recycle, compost, buy recycled and build “green.” The association says it is its intent to praise achievers in California, publicize their successes and share successful efforts throughout the state.
The deadline for nominations is April 30, 2018. Click here for instructions and to view the new online nomination form. Winners will be announced at the CRRA’s 42nd Annual Conference and Tradeshow in July.

Founded in 1974, the CRRA’s mission has been to provide CRRA members with resources to advance local, regional and statewide waste reduction efforts, which result in environmental and climate protection outcomes. The CRRA is California’s statewide recycling association.
