Portsmouth, New Hampshire-based Cyclyx International, a consortium-based feedstock management company, has announced the addition of three new members to its executive advisory board (EAB): Suzanne Shelton, Geoffrey Inch and Juan Becerra.
Shelton is president and CEO of Shelton Group, Knoxville, Tennessee, the nation’s leading marketing strategy and communications agency focused exclusively in the sustainability arena. She leads the Shelton Group in creating a market advantage for organizations that are working to create a sustainable, responsible future.
Inch is the circular economy and sustainability director of the North American branch of Cyclyx founding member company Braskem in Philadelphia. He is responsible for Braskem’s sustainable development strategy and performance in North America and leads the development of the company’s recycled products portfolio.
Becerra is vice president and managing director of licensing at General Electric (GE). He has experience in business development and innovative technology in clean energy and is responsible for the monetization of GE’s intellectual property and business capabilities in software across GE and is based in Niskayuna, New York.
Last year, Oregon-based Agilyx announced that Cyclyx International Inc. had signed a licensing agreement with General Electric (GE) to use its artificial intelligence technology (AI) to jointly develop tools to improve options for recycling plastics through Cyclyx’s customized demand approach. Combining the efforts of the two companies allows the maximization of the recyclability of materials, the companies say.
“Cyclyx has an ambitious mission of increasing the recyclability of plastic from 10 percent to 90 percent, transforming it into a renewable resource,” Joe Vaillancourt, chief executive officer of Cyclyx, says. “The knowledge of and commitment to sustainability and building a circular economy that Geoffrey, Suzanne and Juan bring will be crucial in helping us to reach our goals.”
