The American Conference Institute, or ACI, has scheduled its EPR Think Tank for Jan. 27-28 in New York City.
The event brings together legal, regulatory, sustainability and compliance professionals at the forefront of packaging extended producer responsibility (EPR) laws in the U.S.
With more states rolling out EPR legislation, including California, Colorado, Oregon, Minnesota, Maryland and Washington, ACI says it is a critical time for producers to prepare compliance road maps and stay ahead of complex reporting, fee and enforcement requirements.
Whether a company is in the early stages of EPR readiness or navigating multistate obligations, the event promises to provide practical tools to strengthen compliance strategy and minimize risk.
Sessions at this year’s conference include:
- an exclusive fireside chat with Kristyn Noeth, vice president of policy and compliance at Circular Action Alliance;
- a roundtable discussion with state regulators on packaging EPR implementation;
- lessons on how to navigate the maze of differing and common themes of state EPR packaging laws;
- A breakdown of EPR fees, invoices and compliance realities;
- practical strategies for packaging EPR data collection and reporting;
- a compliance FAQ panel, featuring trade associations, retailers and brands;
- the truth behind recycling under California’s S.B. 343 and S.B. 54; and
- insights on what to expect from upcoming enforcement and penalties.
Recycling Today readers can use promo code D10-999-RECYCLINGTODAY26 at registration to save an additional 10 percent off the cost of registration.
