Fleetio, a Birmingham, Alabama-based fleet maintenance management software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, has launched Service Program Automation, a SaaS solution with features that allow fleet owners and managers to take a hands-off approach to time-consuming administrative tasks.
Service Program Automation is designed to help fleet managers take control of every aspect of operations, from asset tracking to performance management, the company says. The software provides real-time insights into the fleet to allow for data-driven decision making, reduced downtime and automated workflows.
Fleetio says its product can help fleet managers improve on-time PM completion by automatically keeping vehicles on appropriate PM schedules. Instead of manually updating service programs, the company adds, managers can set up and save logic-based workflows that automatically assign vehicles to the correct service programs.

“Before Service Program Automation, I was having to manually adjust service program assignments for nearly 9,000 assets across 132 locations,” says Jesse-Kay Bennett, senior analyst for fleet and asset management at Republic Services, a Phoenix-based waste management company. “I’m now saving hours every day by automating that process [...]. The ability to rely on this automation has not only been a tremendous time saver but has also ensured that we’re consistently on top of our fleet’s maintenance needs.”
