Heritage Environmental Services (HES), an EQT Infrastructure portfolio company, has announced that Timothy Thomas will join the Indianapolis-based company as chief operating officer, effective Oct. 14.
Previously, Thomas served as senior vice president of manufacturing, engineering, environmental, health, safety and operational excellence at Trinseo PLC. There, HES says he led initiatives that resulted in productivity improvements, cost reductions and enhanced safety performance across multiple global sites.

In his new role, Thomas will oversee the daily operations of HES’ waste management assets, including collection, recycling and reuse, destruction and disposal processes.
