An article on MagicValley.com, Twin Falls, Idaho, reports that the Boise-based Idaho Power is resuming its Fridge and Freezer Recycling Program.
The program is partnering with Appliance Recycling Centers of America, Minneapolis, to collect and recycle customer’s used, secondhand units. In return, customers can save up to $100 per year on energy costs and will receive two free LED light bulbs, the news site says.
The Fridge and Freezer Recycling program is open to all Idaho Power residential customers. Refrigerators and standalone freezers must be in working condition and between 10 and 30 cubic feet using inside measurements, according to MagicValley.com.
