Northern Ireland-based Kiverco has been selected to work with one of the largest recycling centers in London serving the building and demolition industry, J O’Doherty Haulage.
According to its website, J O'Doherty offers a one-stop shop for demolition, haulage, waste transfer, recycling and skip hire.
To enhance its position in the market, the business needed to invest in a new plant that would give it more throughput and cleaner products, which in turn would give them better prices for commodities. After much research, the chose Kiverco to upgrade its plant.
Kiverco’s plant was chosen on the basis of its reliability and durability of its design and manufacture following extensive market research by the haulage company, according to a press release issued by Kiverco. The new Kiverco plant and baler enables the business to take in former transfer station waste for the production of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) as well as unprocessed waste.
Kieran O’Doherty, operations manager says, “During the early days of production, once the Kiverco system had been put in place, we worked with Kiverco to maximize the tonnage of the plant and maintain a high efficiency level. We regularly receive site visits by the Kiverco members of staff to ensure the plant is operating successfully and to ensure no issues have arisen.”
