Komar Industries Inc., a Groveport, Ohio-based manufacturer of a full range of shredding and compaction equipment, has hired Don Kurtz as its sales and marketing manager to further develop Komar’s growth of regional and national accounts.

Kurtz brings 16 years of experience within the waste industry, previously working with WestRock (formerly RockTenn Co.), Pioneer Industries International and Smurfit-Stone.
Kurtz says, “I had visited Komar prior to being hired and was impressed with their innovative technologies and the quality craftsmanship of their equipment.
