Liquid Environmental Solutions (LES), an Irving, Texas-based provider of nonhazardous liquid waste management services, has announced the appointment of Cory White as CEO, effective immediately.

He succeeds Jerry Sheridan, who LES says will work with White in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition.

“We are excited to welcome Cory as chief executive officer,” says Cedric Lucas, partner in infrastructure at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, New York. “Cory's proven track record in scaling high-performing organizations, including in the environmental services and circular economy industry, positions him exceptionally well to lead LES into its next chapter of innovation and expansion. We look forward to partnering with Cory to execute on our shared vision of growth for the business and accelerate our commercial, operational and acquisition initiatives in the years ahead.”

White has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across multiple industries. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Stericycle, a medical and pharmaceutical waste and recycling company headquartered in Bannockburn, Illinois.

According to LES, White helped lead Stericycle through a multi-year business transformation culminating in its acquisition by Houston-based WM in 2024.

“I am thrilled to join Liquid Environmental Solutions at this exciting time,” White says. “LES has built an outstanding reputation as a trusted partner in the circular economy, delivering essential services that protect the environment and support customer sustainability goals. I look forward to the partnership with Infrastructure at Goldman Sachs Alternatives and building on the strong foundation established by Jerry and the team, driving continued growth and creating even greater value for our customers, employees and stakeholders.”
