The Bradford Era, Bradford, Pennsylvania, reports that McKean County commissioners approved a recycling grant agreement Wednesday, June 29, 2016, with the state Department of Environmental Protection.
The $113,255 grant will be used to build an improved recycling facility for the county. Keycards will provide residents with 24-hour access, allowing them to drop off recyclables during the center’s off hours.
“What we’re looking to eliminate is people stopping by there, throwing garbage away,” Commissioner Chairman Al Pingie told the newspaper.
