Meridian Waste Solutions Inc., Atlanta, has announced its acquisition of Environmental Trash Co. (ETC) in St. Ann, Missouri.
Meridian Waste will now provide waste and recycling services to about 2,000 commercial and residential customers in St. Louis and St. Charles counties from the company's existing Bridgeton, Missouri, location.
"We wish to welcome the ETC customers and employees to the Meridian Waste family," Scott Bradshaw, area vice president for Meridian Waste, says. "While the name of the company will change to Meridian Waste, the core group of drivers, helpers, dispatchers and customer care staff are still committed to keeping your streets and businesses clean."

Customers can sign up for service alerts to be notified by email and/or text of issues such as severe weather events, road closures and holidays affecting their collection schedule at www.mwsinc.com/service-alert-signup.
