A Florida operating unit of Charlotte, North Carolina-based Meridian Waste has been voted as the Best Trash Company by readers of the Nassau County Record, Callahan, Florida, for the second consecutive year.
“Once again, we’ve been voted as the favorite waste management firm by a majority of local newspaper readers, and we couldn’t be prouder,” says Meridian Waste Area President Dave Shepler. “Our team works hard for the community, and it’s wonderful to be recognized for our efforts on the front lines of so many clean and healthy neighborhoods.”
A news release prepared by Meridian Waste credits several staff members for their role in earning the award, including Dave Shepler, Marty Kelly, Donna West, Ricky Rochester and Ricky Williams.
Nassau County is located between Jacksonville and the Georgia border in the northeast corner of Florida and has about 90,000 residents.
Meridian Waste Florida provides municipal and open-subscription residential solid waste and recycling collection, commercial solid waste collection, yard waste, bulk waste, and roll-off container rental services.
