Miller Environmental Group, based in Calverton, New York, has acquired Ace Environmental Services, a Baltimore-based provider of environmental services for commercial, industrial, marine and residential markets that operates in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Miller has operations centers or transfer, storage and disposal facilities in 10 states, predominantly in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions but also as far south as Georgia and as far west as Ohio.
“The acquisition of ACE marks another important step in Miller’s strategic expansion and underscores the company’s broader growth ambitions,” says Miller, which is a portfolio company of New York-based Coalesce Capital.
Miller says Ace’s footprint is highly complementary to its existing Mid-Atlantic presence, enabling the combined company to serve customers with a suite of environmental services.
“Beyond ACE's well-earned reputation for quality, responsiveness and reliability, we are gaining a talented team and complementary capabilities that strengthen our ability to provide industry-leading service for our customers,” Miller Environmental CEO Robb Schreck says. “This is just the beginning of our growth strategy.”
“We are thrilled to join the Miller platform,” Ace General Manager Tim Wise says. “We have tremendous respect for Miller’s market position and operational excellence and could not be more enthusiastic about joining forces. The combination will allow us to better respond to our customers’ environmental services needs while maintaining a great home for our hardworking team.”
Miller Environmental Group, founded in 1971, provides waste, industrial and environmental services provided to industry sectors including utilities, transportation, retail and manufacturing. Its website lists volumes of hand sanitizer, oil, gas and water it has recycled.
