Monster Organics, a Springfield, Virginia-based food scrap collection and organics recycling company, has announced its expansion into North Carolina. The company has deployed assets to serve the greater Raleigh, Greensboro and Winston-Salem markets while supporting large commercial generators throughout the Charlotte metro region.

Monster Organics is a privately held company serving commercial, municipal and industrial clients in the nation’s capital, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. The company provides collection services up to six days a week, with a custom fleet of collection vehicles that allow organics collection bins to be rinsed on site. Standard service also includes liner installation and weight reporting.

Its core service offerings include wheeled collection carts in 35-, 65-, and 95-gallon sizes, while also providing solutions for off-spec product destruction, roll-off containers and other specialized organic waste streams.

According to Monster Organics, its client base spans a wide range of sectors, including single- and multi-location restaurants, corporate campuses, multifamily buildings, food and beverage manufacturers, schools, senior living communities, municipalities and institutional facilities.

“We are excited to expand our footprint into North Carolina to meet the growing demand for reliable, local organics recycling solutions,” Jay Walton, co-founder and managing partner of Monster Organics, says. “Businesses across the state are increasingly prioritizing sustainable waste management, and our all-inclusive service model is designed to make organics recycling simple, clean and operationally seamless. We are proud to bring that approach to North Carolina and support the region’s continued progress toward total landfill diversion.”
