Morbark enters partnership with Pronar

Trommel screen will be demonstrated at Compost2017.

Morbark LLC, Winn, Michigan, a manufacturer of wood waste reduction equipment for 60 years, has entered into a partnership with Pronar, a Poland-based company that specializes in the manufacture and sale of machinery and equipment for agriculture, municipal services and transportation industry.

Morbark will demonstrate a trommel screen at this year’s Compost2017 show, the U.S. Composting Council’s (USCC) Conference and Tradeshow Jan. 24-26 in Los Angeles. The demonstration is Jan. 26 at the City of Los Angeles’ Lopez Canyon Compost Facility. Morbark will demonstrate the tracked version of the MPB 20.55.

“Morbark has the largest and broadest product lines for the recycling market,” says Michael Stanton, Morbark industrial products director. “Expanding our product offerings further by partnering with Pronar to provide high-quality mobile trommel screens greatly benefits our customers who wish to expand their capabilities.”

Available in four sizes, these mobile trommel screens, which will be co-branded Morbark and Pronar, are designed to work with a wide variety of materials, including soil, compost, municipal waste, coal, aggregate and biomass. The company says the easy-to-use electronic controls allow the operator to tailor the operation parameters to the materials to be separated. A variety of drums are available to meet the customer’s specific needs, with round or square holes and of any mesh size. Key features include:

  • wide-opening doors for accessibility and quick switching of drums;
  • pull-out platform, on which the engine and hydraulic systems are mounted, for easy maintenance access;
  • magnetic roller for removal of ferrous metals, which may be mounted on the rear and/or side discharge conveyors; and
  • hydraulic tipping grid for removal of large objects, to help prevent damage to the trommel drum.

Morbark also will be exhibiting at Compost2017, booth #225, at the Westin Bonaventure, in Los Angeles.
