New Way Trucks, a Federal Signal Corp. company headquartered in Scranton, Iowa, has partnered with Innisfil, Ontario-based Joe Johnson Equipment (JJE) to expand the company’s presence across Canada.
With multiple service centers throughout Canada, JJE is a subsidiary of Federal Signal and a provider of infrastructure maintenance equipment for municipalities and private contractors across North America.
As a New Way distributor with locations across Canada, JJE will serve as a resource for sales and service for refuse haulers throughout Canada, offering New Way’s full line of refuse collection vehicles and parts. JJE will provide service to haulers in all 10 provinces and three territories in Canada. In British Columbia, JJE will serve the East Kootenay Regional District. Western and central British Columbia will continue to be served by Vimar Equipment Ltd, based in Burnaby, British Columbia.
“Canada is a key market area for New Way, and we’re excited to be able to work with the JJE team to expand our reach and strengthen our support and service to our Canadian customers,” says Johnathon McLaughlin, vice president of operations for New Way Trucks.
JJE joins the established New Way Distributor Network, comprised of companies spanning the U.S. and Canada, offering training, inspections, parts, service and after-sale support.
“We’re excited to offer New Way refuse trucks at JJE locations across Canada,” JJE Vice President of Sales Jason Hannah says. “The addition of the New Way brand reflects our commitment to delivering solutions that help our waste and recycling customers operate their businesses with greater safety, efficiency and confidence.”
