The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA), Arlington, Virginia, has announced that Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs Anne Germain has been reappointed to serve on the United States Department of Commerce Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee (ETTAC).

According to a news release from the NWRA, the ETTAC provides recommendations and guidance to expand exports of environmental technologies, goods and services and products that comply with U.S. environmental, safety and related requirements.

Germain was picked as a representative of NWRA and the waste management and recycling segment of the U.S. environmental services industry.

“I am pleased to be reappointed to this committee,” Germain says. “As an ongoing member of the ETTAC, we collaborate with government agencies to find markets for and support the trade of recyclable commodities and recycling equipment through policy initiatives.”
