Palfinger, Bergheim, Austria, has announced the official appointment of Alberto Cavaggioni as the company’s new vice president of sales and service for the North America region.
Cavaggioni will be a member of the Palfinger North America leadership team, succeeding Lennart Brelin, who has retired from the brand after four years as senior vice president of sales and service.
Cavaggioni brings nearly 20 years of sales and marketing experience to the organization, having served in executive leadership roles at Saint-Gobain, Courbevoie, France; HILTI Group, Schaan, Liechtenstein; IVECO, Turin, Italy; Maserati, Modena, Italy; and more recently, Alfa Romeo, Turin, Italy, where he held the position of head of Alfa Romeo Brand EMEA. During his career, Cavaggioni has held positions and assignments in Italy, France, the U.K., China and the U.S.
