Perpetual Next, an organic waste conversion company, has appointed Rolf Bosma as general manager.
Prior to joining the producer of biocommodities, Bosma held senior positions at organizations in various countries, including Switzerland, Italy and Japan, working at companies such as Switzerland-based technology group ABB Turbocharging/Accelleron, South Africa-based recycling company Sita and Netherlands-based energy company Unica Ecopower.
Bosma is trained as an engineer and studied at business school. At Perpetual Next, he will be responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations, both nationally and internationally, and will report to the company’s executive board.
“Rolf is an experienced executive director with an international background in, among other things, the energy and maritime sectors,” Rene Buwalda, CEO of Perpetual Next, says. “He is a strategist with strong commercial and operational skills and a keen eye for people development. I look forward to working together on the further growth of the company.”
With global headquarters in Amsterdam, Perpetual Next converts organic waste into renewable commodities, primarily biomethanol. The company is building a network of large-scale plants in the Netherlands, Estonia and the U.S., with additional sites in development.
