At WasteExpo 2016, Plexus Recycling Technologies, Westminster, Colorado, was launched as a full line recycling solutions provider. Plexus was formed by an team that seeks to bring advanced recycling technologies from around the world together in systems that are designed to solve entrenched problems.
Marcel Vallen, CEO of Komptech Americas and Plexus Recycling Technologies, says, “With Komptech sales climbing every year, we decided to partner with complementary brands to provide the latest recycling technologies to our customers.”
Plexus Recycling Technologies will begin distribution of three new product lines: Andritz MeWa, which develops and manufactures recycling machines and turnkey solutions for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), refrigerators, oil filters, household and domestic waste (RDF) and used tires; Matthiessen, which specializes in bag opening and bale breaking; and ZenRobotics, a robotic sorting system, along with Komptech stationary equipment.
At WasteExpo, a ZenRobotics unit was on display, as was Komptech machinery.
