Plum Creek Environmental Technologies, a West Point, Mississippi-based manufacturer of waste handling equipment, has appointed William Wilkerson and Daniel R. Overstreet to director of compaction equipment and engineering manager respectively.
“Our Plum-Pak Trash Compactor line growth continues to accelerate, and we are really fortunate to add these gentlemen to our team,” Plum Creek founder Jim Wamble says. “Bill brings us many years of proven success in the trash-compaction arena. His extensive knowledge and leadership will greatly assist us in our ambitious growth plans.”
Wilkerson is a member of the Chevy Chase, Maryland-based Environmental Industry Association (EIA) Hall of Fame.
“Daniel Overstreet brings us experience… in product design and production capabilities,” Wamble says. “His experience in the manufacture of waste equipment has already made a tremendous positive effect on our company.”
According to Plum Creek, Overstreet brings more than a decade of experience in the solid waste equipment manufacturing sector to the role. Most recently, he served as a structural engineer.
“Overstreet’s appointment will ensure Plum Creek builds on our track record as a leading manufacturer of solid waste equipment,” Wamble says.
