United Kingdom-based Reconomy has partnered with VWS Software Solutions, Reading, England, aiming to leverage technology solutions to improve data accuracy, real-time insights and service quality for U.K. customers.

VWS created PurGo, a waste management enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. The partnership will involve integrating PurGo’s ERP capabilities into digitalXchange, Reconomy’s service architecture. Reconomy says the collaboration with accelerate digitization, automate workflows, remove manual administration and offer more time to focus on client service.
“This partnership will unlock new opportunities for our supplier network by streamlining collaboration and automating key workflows by reducing manual processes and improving data transparency,” says Warren Bird, operations director for outsourcing at Reconomy. “Together, we’ll drive mutual efficiencies and accelerate progress toward shared sustainability goals, helping our customers close circularity gaps while minimizing environmental impact. This initiative also strengthens our commitment to building the most intelligent, agile and supplier-enabled resource management model in the industry.”
