Recycling and Waste Solutions (RWS), Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania says it has changed its name to RWS Facility Services to reflect its expanded range of comprehensive facility services across North America. RWS customers include the nation’s largest companies in foodservice, retail, commercial, multifamily and manufacturing, and the company’s expanded services are designed to boost their operational efficiency by providing a single point of contact, programs tailored by industry and advanced technology that delivers real-time data for smart decision-making and a positive return on investment.
In addition to continuing to design, implement and manage recycling and waste programs, RWS’ additional services include a number of exterior and interior needs, such as plumbing and grease trap cleaning, parking lot repairs, HVAC repair and maintenance, landscaping and more.
“Changing our name to RWS Facility Services marks an exciting milestone for our company,” says Anthony DiIenno, president and CEO of RWS. “Our customers were increasingly turning to us for additional services, so it made sense to offer one convenient stop for operational support and service that is responsive and adaptive to their needs. Expanding our services brings value to companies seeking to increase the sustainability and efficiency of their operations with execution that reduces cost, saves time and improves the overall environment.”
The name change, effective immediately, also reflects the company’s entry into new industry verticals that resulted from RWS’ acquisition of Sustainable Solutions Group (SSG), Woodstock, Georgia. in April.
RWS is a portfolio company of Atar Capital, Los Angeles, which acquired the business in September 2017. Atar specializes in corporate divestitures, complex carve-outs and turn-around situations across a wide range of industries and geographic markets.
