RRT Design & Construction, Melville, New York, has announced that Luis Gonzalez has joined its power division, RRT Sigma Engineering, as president.
Gonzalez, who brings more than 40 years of experience in the engineering field, will manage day-to-day operations of RRT Sigma Engineering’s power engineering and consulting business and will be responsible for formulating and implementing the company's business strategy.
RRT Sigma focuses its business on power plant design, efficiency improvements, fuel conversions, inside-the-fence power generation, CHP (combined heat and power), distributed generation and air quality control systems.
Gonzalez has an extensive background in the design, project management and facility construction in the energy sector, including all types of generation and transmission and distribution of electricity. He also has extensive national and international project experience.
