“Sourgum was built to make waste and recycling as simple as ordering anything else online,” Sourgum CEO and co-founder Joe DiNardi-Mack says. “Des Moines has a vibrant business community and a results driven culture. With our proprietary haulsourcing technology, customers get faster, more reliable, sustainable service and local haulers gain the tools and scale they need to grow.”
The company’s technology connects customers to a network of more than 5,000 local haulers, providing quotes, pricing, availability and automated scheduling.
The expansion into Iowa continues Sourgum’s national rollout, following recent launches in Indianapolis; Birmingham, Alabama; Nashville, Tennessee; Atlanta; Raleigh, North Carolina; Louisville, Kentucky; and Jackson, Mississippi.
