Sourgum, a Jersey City, New Jersey-based waste and recycling technology company, has expanded its services to the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.

The company offers an online platform, allowing residents and businesses to book container rentals and waste and recycling services. The expansion is part of Sourgum’s national expansion across the Midwest and Southeast U.S.

“Waste is one of the last major operational functions without modern infrastructure behind it,” Joe DiNardi-Mack, CEO and co-founder of Sourgum, says. “In markets like the Twin Cities, businesses often manage dozens of vendors without the visibility or consistency they need to operate effectively. Our platform eliminates that fragmentation with a single, connected system that finally brings transparency and efficiency to the industry.”

With access to Sourgum, the company says customers in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area will have ease of access to on-demand dumpsters, the ability to set up recurring service for commercial operation and visibility into tracking and centralized reporting.

“In the Twin Cities, sustainability is built into how people live and work,” DiNardi-Mack says. “By partnering with local haulers, we’re helping divert more waste from landfills and giving customers clear, actionable data on the environmental impact of every pickup.”
