SP Industries, Hopkins, Michigan, has introduced the CP-3002 industrial compactor, featuring a dual-cylinder design. It is suitable for handling packaging materials, wooden skids, crates and process scrap. The CP-3002 is ideal for large retail outlets, transfer stations, warehouses and other heavy industrial applications, according to the manufacturer.
The CP-3002/CP-3002 D features a large top opening of 52 inches by 58 inches and a capacity of 3 cubic yards. It offers a volume displacement of 140/100 cubic yards per hour (depending on model) and a maximum force of 101,800/138,500 pounds. Numerous specialty optional equipment and design features are available as well.
All SP compactors are designed to meet or exceed ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) specifications for safety and are backed by the company’s warranty program. American supplied electrical and hydraulic components are specified for reliability and easy nationwide serviceability, SP Industries says.
