Denver-based Starlight LLC and Whip Around, Charlotte, North Carolina, have announced a partnership to offer Whip Around’s full feature set to Starlight customers through Starlight’s Driver mobile application.
Starlight customers will be able to extend the value of the Starlight Driver application by opting to add Whip Around’s vehicle inspection and reporting capability. Users can now provide live data and imagery directly to their maintenance staff. According to the company, this inspection and reporting feature extend the value of Starlight by ensuring drivers comply with, and document all, required vehicle inspections before being allowed to perform work or log out of the application.
“We use the Whip Around DVIR system in our own hauling company,” says Bill Bradley, CEO of Starlight LLC. “We run all the software we build and integrate with our own fleet of 33 trucks before releasing it to the market. There just isn’t a better way for us to test and validate the value of our product before it goes to Starlight customers, and there isn’t another software provider in the industry that has the unique integrated operating ability to match this.”
